Activity 1: What Makes a Holiday Special?

  • Teach students about major Jewish holidays, like Rosh Hashanah and Shavuot. Discuss the history and traditions behind them.

  • Have students choose a holiday, then draw or craft a project to show how it’s celebrated.

Activity 2: Holiday Recipe Sharing

  • Have students research a traditional Jewish recipe for a holiday (e.g., challah, latkes) and write down the steps to prepare it.

  • Students can share the recipe with the class and, if possible, make a small sample.
